It provides access to proven solutions and new developments from the worlds of science and professional practice as well as calls for qualification theses. There is also a digital e-learning environment with training and continuing education materials for public service interpreters and for professionals who come into contact with them in their day-to-day  work. Our aim is to ensure high-quality communication in multilingual public service settings in the long term. These resources are aimed at aspiring and professional public service interpreters as well as professionals working in the fields of healthcare, social services, education, and justice and asylum contexts. Their purpose is to help bridge language barriers in a professional and role-aware manner. Please note that the materials are currently available <strong>in German only<\/strong>. Each unit addresses a specific topic within one of the focus areas. Our focus areas are as follows:<\/p><ul><li>Healthcare<\/li><li>Social services and education<\/li><li>Legal and asylum services<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c2024fc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c2024fc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Each learning unit includes the following:<\/p><ul><li>Terminology lists for targeted preparation<\/li><li>Audio files for active interpreting with and without notes<\/li><li>Transcripts of the audio files for checking your work and for possible sight-translation practice<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9c4a6a0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9c4a6a0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Across all units, learners are also provided with guidance on different practice formats as well as recommendations for self-reflection and peer feedback, including the required checklists.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">All learning units are hosted on <em>Switch OER<\/em>.
