digilinguo

digilinguo helps public institutions such as hospitals, courts or schools to overcome everyday language barriers, making communication easier for everyone involved. The digilinguo project is a collaboration between the University of Zurich (UZH) and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). The project is being supported by the Digitalization Initiative of the Zurich Higher Education Institutions (DIZH).

Various digital tools are provided as part of the Test track. They comprise a range of devices like VR glasses as well as software solutions such as apps. The tools are tried out by the practical partners in the ZHAW's Usability Lab. During this process, the tools are tested for their practicality and efficiency.

The Science2Practice online platform offers proven solutions as well as new developments from the worlds of science and professional practice. You can also find regular updates on digilinguo's research results here. There is also an e-learning environment with learning materials for the training and continuing education of interpreting professionals.
